FestivalsGreg loves festivals: for the chance to mix with other artists, for the chance to wear his gumboots on stage and, most importantly, because there is no bigger thrill than walking out to a three quarters full tent and ending up with people standing twenty deep around the edges wondering who's causing all the laughter. He has performed at some short lived festivals such as Alternative Nation, M1 and Sydney's Cockatoo Island festival. He is a favourite at the Woodford Folk Festival where he has brought in the new year eight times....or maybe nine, it's a bit of a blur. He has done shows at the Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Bangalo comedy festivals. He hosted the Brisbane Jazz and Blues festival. He has performed at the Mardi Grass festival in Nimbin and the West End Festival in Brisbane with what sounded like the same guys playing drums in the distance on both occasions. Greg Sullivan has appeared on stage at the week long Woodford Folk
Festival every year since 2004. Without doubt he is a Woodford
favourite. His appearance on the final day of the 2007 festival,
clad in nought but a towel, has kept the laughter reverberating
for many years. As he said to the six hundred strong audience at
the time, "Has anyone else run out of clean clothes yet?" He is

ClubsComedy clubs are where comedians pay their dues, hone their craft and hang out with their friends. Greg has been privileged to perform at some of the most famous and prestigious clubs around. He started his career at the Sit Down Comedy Club in Brisbane when it was at Dockside and later went on to be Dockside's only resident M.C. He has been a regular at the Albion Comedy Club and Restaurant as well as the The Sit Down Comedy Club at the Paddington Tavern. He was lucky enough to work at the second and third incarnations of Sydney's legendary Comedy Store, as well as the Last Laugh in Melbourne. He has done spots at the Hi-fi Bar in Melbourne and the Fringe Bar in Sydney. He was one of the last acts at Jane's cabaret in Wellington, headlined the Jakarta Comedy Club at the Mandarin Oriental and has been booked to work at the Comedy Club Asia in Singapore. The most memorable club appearance was when he was invited to be part of a showcase of Australian comedy at the Improv on Sunset in Los Angeles. Greg was a runner up in the Comic of the Year competition at Sydney's famous Harold Park hotel in nineteen ninety seven. He has performed in clubs from Adelaide to Cairns and always been asked back, if the club stays open long enough. What Club Owners Have to Say about Greg
